"The Shuttle Balance provides the capability to safely tax the stabilizing musculature in support of the rehabilitating joint. In addition, it assists in developing the balance and proprioception skill from the elite athlete to the frail geriatric."

SHUTTLE BALANCE IN MOST STABLE CONFIGURATION

BALANCE BOARD SHOWN IN MOST INSENSITIVE CONFIGURATION
The degree of tilt sensitivity of the Balance Board may be adjusted by attaching the four chains to various loops on the lateral edges of the board. When the chains are attached to the outer most loops the board will not tilt at all.

BALANCE BOARD IN MOST UNSTABE CONFIGURATION
By attaching the chains at the center most position, a high degree of instability may be achieved. The numbers on the board allows documenting the degree of stability or instability provided.

SHUTTLE BALANCE IN MOST SENSITIVE ADJUSTMENT

FUNCTIONALLY TRAIN THE NEUROMUSCULAR SYSTEMS OF BOTH ATHLETES AND SENIORS
The Shuttle Balance provides an excellent platform for the recovering lower extremity patient to re-establish the neurological pathways damaged during injury or surgery to the lower extremities. The athlete needs safe unstable stimulation to adapt to during training that prepares the individual for safer real life experiences in their sporting event or daily life.

SHUTTLE BALANCE SENSITIVITY ADJUSTMENTS ON UPPER FRAME

FOUR ADDTIONAL ADJUSTMENT LOOPS ON THE UPPER FRAME
Further Increasing or decreasing the stability of the Balance Board may be accomplished using wider or narrower attachment points on the upper frame.

HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT USING CHAIN AND CARABINERS
Four carabiners enable easy vertical or tilt adjustment to the Balance Board. A chain is attached to the top carabiner and the loop on the top bar to make incremental adjustments available. These adjustments may also be accomplished at the lower end as well.

EASY-TO-USE HEIGHT CONTROL

PERTUBATION RANGE CONTROL

LATERAL TRAVEL CONTROL ROPE
Adjustable lateral travel tether ropes attached between the frame and Balance Board control lateral movement.

ELASTIC TETHERS PROVIDE PROGRESSIVE RESISTANCE
Two red elastic resistance bands may be attached between the Balance Board and the frame to provide progressive resistance for many exercises including abduction or adduction.

EASY ASSEMBLY

SLIP FIT TUBE ASSEMBLY
Four slip fit tubes with bolts and knobs make assembly and disassembly a cinch.

WHITE RUBBER STABILITY FEET
Four white rubber non marking feet provide skid resistance.

SKID RESISTANT STABILITY FEET
