"The MiniClinic gives us the ability to begin working with our ACL patients, acute eversion and inversion ankle sprains, as well as other lower extremity injuries as soon as a week or two after surgery or their injury date. At this early stage we have found the MiniClinic to be invaluable for increasing range of motion as well as the athlete's confidence in performing functional leg press, knee flexion, adduction, and abduction activities."

THE SHUTTLE IN USE

"In regards to the MiniClinic, what I’ve attempted to focus upon is the ability of patients to go from sitting to standing and how the MiniClinic helps enhance that action for patients. They have been able to go from requiring a high level of assistance to a lower level of assistance from Physical Therapists, Nurses and Nursing Assistants. Generally, if we look at going from sitting to standing, it takes a maximum level of assistance but by using the MiniClinic and getting stronger the level of assistance becomes minimal. That’s a big change! That means less work and less potential for injury for patients and staff. Patients feel like they are doing more and they gain confidence. As they get more confidence, they’re going to work harder . . . That’s the corner stone - sitting to standing. To that end, I’ve found really good success with the MiniClinic . . .
