In today's economy, all of us are happy to get clients in whatever shape, size, age or ability they come in. Because we'll take whoever we can get, our equipment needs to be very versatile.
The versatility of our Shuttle Systems products will be on display at the ABC show in Orlando on Dec. 3-5. If you're lucky enough to be in that glorious neck of the woods, we hope you'll stop by booth #2805 to visit. Here's what we'll be showing and telling:
Shuttle MVP:
Most people recognize the lower body abilities that the MVP brings to a trainer or gym. But, most people don't realize its upper body capabilities. We've got MMA fighters using the MVP to improve their core strength and punching ability - in addition to improving their explosive kicking (video soon to follow).
But that's not all.... because a client can lay down on the MVP with their back completely supported and work with "less than body weight," your weekend warrior with a bad back or bum knees can get a good workout without pounding his joints. They can improve their performance without destroying their body.
Shuttle Recovery:
Like its big brother, the Recovery provides clients with complete back support while being soft on the joints. But what makes the Recovery unique is its ability to work with heavier clients and seniors.
The Recovery was specifically designed with an extra wide carriage (two feet wide) to give the bariatric and senior client all the confidence they want in a piece of exercise equipment. It can also accommodate clients weighing in at 500+ pounds. And, like all the other Shuttle products, the Recovery is very accessible and intuitive - clients learn how to use it pretty fast and enjoy how easy it is. And, let's face it, bariatric clients and seniors can't handle aggressive aerobics and aren't going to be jumping on plyo boxes, With the Recovery, you can offer them a workout that would be hard pressed to get anyplace else.
Shuttle Balance:
A truly versatile machine, the Balance allows you to work with both athletes and seniors in improving their balance skills. Fall prevention programs are becoming increasingly popular and can be a new revenue stream for your facility. At the same time, the Balance enables you to offer specific functional training to improve an athlete's proprioceptive performance.
Shuttle MiniPress:
This little workhorse can come and go anywhere. Because its made with rollers and weighs in at a measly 15 pounds, you can bring the leg press to the patient. Put it on a bed or training table, attach it to a wheel chair - it goes everywhere. And, you can engage loads of just under 100 pounds, this is a "Mighty Mini" perfect for senior clients.
We hope you'll come to the ABC show and experience these versatile machines for yourself. We're in booth #2805. Drop by, sit a spell, and we can ask ourselves, "What are we doing indoors when we could be basking outside in the Florida sun?"
See ya there!
