The Shuttle MVP is featured on television. Well, sorta....

Unlike the hit TV show Cheers, where "everybody knows your name," the Shuttle MVP is not exactly a household word (I had a friend refer to it as "the greatest thing you've never heard of.")
But, in certain circles, we have made quite a name for ourselves. Here's a little promotional factoid: You will find a Shuttle MVP in the weight rooms of twenty-six NFL teams, twenty NBA teams, and fourteen MLB teams. Heck, you'll find a Shuttle MVP in the personal home gyms of some of the most famous athletes in the world! (I could tell you who they were, and, while I wouldn't necessarily have to kill ya, if I did tell you, those same athletes would end up charging us one mongo of a marketing fee - effectively killing us!)
So, we cruise along in relative obscurity, content to be known by elite athletes, strength and conditioning coaches, athletic trainers, and physical therapists; but saddened to be unknown by joe six pack, your average soccer mom, and the kid next door.
Well, you'd think a news story from KCRA TV in Sacramento, California about how great the Shuttle MVP is would be exciting news. Well, IT IS! We're excited!! Great things are being said about us in front of hundreds of thousands, perhaps millions of people!!! The Shuttle MVP is on TV!!!!
There's just one problem.... just one pesky little detail....
They didn't get our name right.
Now, I know the old saying is, "I don't care what you say, as long as you spell my name right." But we're not talking about errant spelling here. Instead of calling us the Shuttle MVP, they referred to us as the Plyo-sled.
Making the situation even tougher is the fact that they were using our MVP as part of an on-going feature showing all the different fitness products from A to Z. We were letter "P". I could go back and kindly ask KCRA to make a correction and see if they'd put us in the "S" slot, but I'm guessing that ship has already sailed. Simply put, I don't think we're going to get a retraction on the nightly news anytime soon....
Now, we're extremely grateful that KCRA would even take the time to talk about us. We love the coveted air time, the huge viewership, the product in action, and the glowing reviews! We're just hoping it's not too offensive to point out our correct name.
You can call it "Shuttle MVP". Or you can call it "MVP". Or you can call it "MVP Shuttle". But ya doesn't has to call it Plyo-sled.
Thanks KCRA... and please forgive us for being a bit fussy when it comes to our product nomenclature. You did make up for it with a pretty good news story on the SHUTTLE MVP. Check it out:
